Opera Mini 5, the latest version released by OperaMini team has much to offer for the touch screen phones. This mobile version of Opera is claimed to be the most popular and best browser for mobile phones like BlackBerry, Nokia, HTC and other Java enabled mobile phones.
Opera today released the new beta version of Opera Mini called the Opera Mini 5 beta ,which includes built-in password manager, tabbed browsing, copy paste option and much more.
Another cool feature is that it adds a “Open in mini” option to the email client so that we don’t have to open the hyperlinks in email messages with the default browser.

Tabbed Browsing
With tabbed browsing you no longer need to interrupt one session to start another. Use your web-mail in one window, Facebook in another, Twitter in a third and all that while checking the latest sports results. With Opera Mini you can easily identify the different tabs and jump between them.

Problems/Bugs in Opera Mini 5 beta
The only problem I found while working this beta version on my Sony Ericson P1i is that the scroll key is no longer supported and it’s not possible to scroll through webpage’s using that button. This button actually worked in Opera Mini 4.2 version.
No Option to disable the virtual Keyboard. [it’s too hard to use and we can type quicker with the normal qwerty keyboard]
Slightly sluggish while switching tabs.

great!! OM5 update!!…must do it soon.
I’m using Paranotic Password Manager – really very useful. Portable version, click-to-copy passwords, logins and ect. Daily backup data – you allways can restore your data file if you lost it. Recommend!
